The Regina Dominican community gathered together on Monday, April 24th to celebrate two Panther athletes! Congratulations to Haneefa Adam '23 and Muriel Reese '23 who committed to continuing their athletic careers in college. Haneefa will be attending Marquette University to continue her track & field career and Muriel will be attending St. Norbert's College, where she has committed to join the Green Knights soccer team.
We are extremely proud of these dedicated and driven student athletes. From breaking school records to exemplifying incredible leadership on and off the field, we know these stellar Panthers are going to make their mark on the world.
Haneefa Adam
- 2022 IHSA State Finalist and IHSA Sectional Champion in the triple jump and the 400 meter relay.
- Finished 5th at the 2022 IHSA State Finals in the Triple Jump.
- Current school record holder in the 60m, triple jump, 400m relay and the 800 m relay.
- Currently exceeding the IHSA State Standard in both the long jump and the triple jump.
- Led the volleyball team in kills as a senior.
- All ISL Volleyball as a senior.
- Will be attending Marquette University and will compete on the track & field team.
Muriel Reese
- 2022 and 2023 Team Captain
- 7 career goals as of 4/17
- 4 year academic all conference/scholar athlete award
- ISL All Conference Candidate
- IHSA All Sectional Candidate
- Member of 2021 Regina Dominican Soccer team that reached the
- IHSA Sectional Final
- Will be attending St. Norbert College to play soccer.
