Regina Dominican's Track & Field 4x800 relay team of Nora McCabe '25, Chloe Thiel '26, Olivia Mauer '26 and Charlotte Kroll '25 finished 5th at the Class 2A Carmel Catholic IHSA Girls Track and Field Sectional on Wednesday.  The team finished with a time of 10:13.51, which earned the group a trip to the IHSA State Finals based on beating the IHSA State Qualifying time of 10:15.7

The Regina Dominican Board of Directors and the President Search Committee are proud to announce Krista Gallagher as Regina Dominican’s next President.

Regina Dominican track and field made it back to back ISL championships Saturday at Lake Forest Academy. The Panthers finished the day with 122 points, which edged Latin with 119 points.    UHigh finished 3rd with 84 points.

Regina Dominican basketball coach Bob Newton has been recognized as the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association (IBCA) Coach of the Year for Class 2A, District 4. This marks the 2nd straight year that coach Newton has been recognized by the IBCA.

Regina Dominican High School is proud to announce that two members of the Class of 2024 are the recipients of the Chick Evans Scholarship for Caddies. Congratulations and Paws Up to Ella Grillo ‘24 and Lily Grillo ‘24!

Over Spring Break, the Regina Riveters (Robotics Team) competed in and completed the Robotics Midwest Regional. It is extremely uncommon for a team to compete in a regional during their first year and our Panthers made us proud by receiving the 2024 Rookie Inspiration Award for the Midwest Regional.

This past week, Regina Dominican High School announced the winner of the McDonell Award, recognizing the athletic team with the highest collective Grade Point Average (GPA) during a given sports season, to the Basketball Panthers.

On Saturday, February 24th, 50 members of the Regina Dominican Mathletes Team competed in the Regional Illinois Council of the Teachers of Mathematics Regional Contest at Niles North High School. Freshman, Jana Tayara earned an individual medal in the Algebra 1 competition and qualified for the State Final competition. The Algebra 1 and Geometry teams also qualified for state. The Illinois Council of Teachers of Mathematics(ICTM) State Finals will take place on April 6, 2024, at Illinois State University.

The Regina Dominican Varsity Basketball Team placed 4th in the state on Thursday night in the IHSA 2A Basketball State Championship Series. The Panthers played against Robinson High School, battling for the 3rd place spot and falling short 44-51.

The Regina Dominican Varsity Basketball Team fell to Peoria- Notre Dame in a hard fought match, and the Panthers will compete at 7:45 PM tonight for Third Place.
